Thanks I'm already a user of the Video Pro app but there were a couple of tips here which I've taken on board. One thing I've been meaning to try out is the 'Close Surfaces' option.

These days I generally use Arena4D for my fly-throughs, however I still prefer how Video Pro renders the point cloud as well as it's ability to create a nice fluid camera path.

I would say the two most important things are: 1. Lots of scan positions, and 2. Excellent imagery with good exposure and no traffic... you want to aim to create the best colour overlay possible.

The close surface is really hit and miss depending on what you are visualizing. You will want to really clean up things like cars or pipes with possible stray points since some of that extra data becomes much more visible with closed surfaces.
