Hi all,
We saw the post "Scanning Robots" and thought that you guys might be interested in learning more about our robotic platform. Our company TranscendRobotics created and patented ARTI- an affordable stair climbing robot that is used in dangerous and timely situations. We have designed the mechanics to not fall over itself while climbing up/ down stairs or moving through different terrains. Here is a video of our robot showing its mobility:

Our main customers are in the engineering and 3D scanning sectors. Right now ARTI has telepresence.
We would love to hear your thoughts on ARTI via this thread. If you are interested in our product and want to learn more, feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum
Nice robot, thanks for sharing. Pretty amazing climbing abilities. Do you have any information on payload capacity? I could see mounting a small mobile mapping system on this platform as a strong possibility. Maybe the snoopy unit from lidar USA.

Re: ARTI (Robotic platform for 3D Scanning)
Thanks for the question.
ARTI's chassis can support over 100 lbs. but it comes with motors capable of 50+ lbs on flat / unstable surfaces / over curbs and 25 lbs up/down stairs. If you require more, ARTI has modular motor plates and new motors can be added.
We'll be unveiling at RTC North America, if you're attending.
Thanks,
Phil
