Correcting data

Post by favaria »

Hello everyone, im currently working with some LiDAR data, on RiSCAN PRO 64x v2.3.2 and what I need to do is create a pointcloud (DEM) out of 2 different pointclouds and I need to correct the data, so far I am very lost on how to do this.
The main goal is to compare 2 different point clouds, one without snow and one with snow. So any tips or tutoriales are very much appreciated.
Thank you

Can you tell us more about the data - specifically what you need to correct?
I assume you have two different point clouds that are already processed? If I were doing it, I would want to mesh both of them, then do a comparison between the two meshes for deviations.

If it's like Stephen says, to just compare 2 point clouds. You can use CloudCompare (skipped the mesh step)
