Or micro station will be fine, because it's easy to get the model out if this boxes!

Ask your client what he will do with the model!

Thanks for all the replies. Food for thought. I think we can achieve most of what is required without a high level of detail model. A case of the client not really sure what different outputs from the scan are.

Hi Michael,
You don't need a plug in for Rhino 5.0 to import PTS files, it is built in.
There isn't automatic pipe fitting etc, but there are ways to do this if you modify some of the standard rhino commands.

This is not from a church - but its the sort of thing you may find in one. This data was collected with a HDS6100 - Our next goal is to collect some with our new ZF5010 and see how much more detail we can pick up.

The point cloud was mashed in PolyWorks - with any luck we may be able to NURB surface some of the ZF5010 stuff.
