Australian CSIRO developed Hovermap UAV Scanner

Post by Simon. »

Hi all, some interesting news if you were not aware. CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) has been developing the Hovermap, a UAV mounted laser scanner, which looks to be a great step in accurate drone scanning. They plan to have a purchasable product towards the end of 2017, and have been working with state police on crime scene mapping.
