Just an update for anyone interested, I have found using the cylindrical or flip targets work best for the application. Although its tough to setup targets down a km long vertical shaft so cloud to cloud reg. is also a must have.

Nice hint, but can you explain a little more how did you proceeded? Where did you installed the targets? I think that is the best way to spread information.
